Accessibility statement

TenantSafe is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This statement applies to tenantsafe.co.uk and all authenticated product pages.

Compliance status

TenantSafe is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the standard. A formal independent audit has not yet been completed. Known issues are listed below.

Known limitations

• Some interactive components (notification dropdown, HA name autocomplete) may not announce state changes consistently in all screen readers. We are working to improve ARIA live region coverage.
• The AI chat interface uses streaming text output; screen reader announcement of incremental content is not yet optimised.
• Some data tables in the provider dashboard do not yet have column scope attributes (WCAG 1.3.1).

TenantSafe relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:

What we are doing to improve accessibility

We aim to conduct a full third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit before the public launch of TenantSafe. In the meantime, accessibility issues found during development are fixed as a priority. All new UI components are tested with keyboard-only navigation and VoiceOver / NVDA before merging.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the “accessibility regulations”). If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
